1. PvPing casualy? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Rather than training for T2 frig as soon as you can I would suggest training your t1 frig skills and weapon skills (including small weapon specialization) and suupport skills to the point where your t1 frig is a truly tough customer. You'll have p...

And for a couple of other casual PvP options: Can Flipping or n00b Pirates Both are solo friendly and can be approached as casually as desired, if you're into that sort of thing.

Edited by: Asinia Au on 14/08/2008 15:51:27 I'd be willing to bet that 8 D is being misread as 8 0 . Might be worth it to check your training time. edit: Or, after reading the more recent post, 2D and 6D, perhaps?

5. Questions regarding pirates and stealing - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I suppose the argument could be made that while I cannot use the GTC to buy food I can use the money I saved by acquiring a GTC to buy it. But I agree with you, once you pay your subscription fee, by whatever means, the money is GONE! The player ...

6. Questions regarding pirates and stealing - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
But I can legally exchange isk for GTCs, can I not? And I GTC I can use in place of a subscription fee, therefore, there is RL value of isk, unless I am missing something?

Hey! If every time I jump into a <100k isk tackle ship I help to bring down a BS, I'm a happy camper!

8. Target Painter Question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Originally by: Gartel Reiman That's an overly simplistic (to the point of misleading) way of looking at it. Increasing the target ( any target)'s signature radius by 30% is exactly equivalent to an increase to guns' tracking of 30% when...

Isn't it also true then that a target painter will help medium sized weapon turrets hit smaller ships, frigates and the like?

13. Turret Tracking and Falloff - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Thanks Metalino, that helps a lot! I may not have expressed myself very well, but other than: If your target's anglar velocity matches your turrets tracking, you will have a 50% chance to hit. If your turrets can track twice as fast as your targ...

14. Turret Tracking and Falloff - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Does falloff affect turret accuracy at distance greater than optimal or is it both less than and greater than optimal? It seems right that it would be only greater. Then, if that is true, I was thinking of training autocannons, mounting a few of ...

15. Better T1 Amarr Tackler? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Well, as a stopgap I have trained Minmatar frigate to 3 so I can fly the rifter to use for tacking, but I think that will be a stopgap to get me to Ammar Intys. All I need there is Evasive Maneuvering to 5 (I'm at 4 now) and then train Inty. I wa...

I've had this message too when salvaging faction rats like true sansha or whatever. I have Salvaging trained to 4. Will Salvaging 5 allow me to salvage any ship? Or od some ships require Salvage Tackle, for example?

18. Better T1 Amarr Tackler? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I've been experimenting with T1 Amarr frigs for tackling. So far I've tried the Punisher, my usual frigate choice, and the Executioner for its greater speed. I've found the Executioner difficult to fit, along with an MWD I can only manage 2 nanof...

20. Help me decide - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
If you like the idea of missles hitting from a long distance, then don't discount the idea of drones just yet. When I'm flying my Arbitrator I have my drones engage their target from 45km out. At that range I don't get hit all that often when ratt...
